1. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting a consultation, commissioning a Bill of Quantities (BOQ), signing a project contract, or utilizing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you are entering into an agreement on behalf of a company, corporate body, or estate committee, you confirm that you possess the legal authority to bind that entity.
2. Quotations, Estimates & Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Validity: Written project estimates and quotation schedules are valid for a standard duration of 30 calendar days from issuance, unless otherwise explicitly stipulated in writing.
- Material Price Fluctuations: In circumstances where volatile macroeconomic conditions cause extreme shifts in building material costs (such as cement, steel reinforcement, or imported finishes) before the mobilization deposit is funded, quotations may be subjected to mutual cost-reconciliation.
- Scope Definition: Any work not explicitly documented in the approved BOQ shall be considered an Out-of-Scope Variation and will be quoted separately before execution.
3. Milestone Payments & Financial Terms
To maintain continuous on-site craftsmanship, quality materials procurement, and artisan safety, our projects operate on a structured milestone schedule:
Note: Failure to fund an agreed milestone checkpoint may result in safe site demobilization until funds are cleared.
4. Client Responsibilities & Site Access
The client agrees to:
- Provide unhindered, legal access to the project property for our engineers, artisans, and logistics trucks during operational working hours.
- Provide necessary documentation verifying ownership or lawful authorization to perform construction, interior fit-outs, or renovations on the premises.
- Promptly review and approve submitted color palettes, tile samples, 3D renderings, and structural drawings to prevent project timeline slippage.
5. Quality Assurance & Defect Liability Period
Jill Global Services Ltd takes pride in delivering landmark projects and durable spaces. All turnkey construction and extensive renovation contracts include a Defect Liability Period (DLP) (typically 3 to 6 months post-handover, as specified in your individual contract).
During this period, any defects arising from workmanship or construction installation faults will be remedied at our company's expense. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear, intentional damage, post-handover third-party modifications, or natural disaster events.
6. Intellectual Property & 3D Renderings
All 3D visualization concepts, structural calculations, custom joinery blueprints, and proprietary project strategies prepared by Jill Global Services Ltd remain our intellectual property until the full design or execution contract has been settled in accordance with the agreement.
7. Property Management & Diaspora Agreements
For clients engaging our Property Management & Diaspora Oversight services:
- We act as the authorized facility and tenant management representative within the parameters defined in the signed Management Agency Agreement.
- Routine maintenance disbursements and tenant vetting standards shall strictly adhere to the agreed owner threshold limits.
- Detailed digital accounting reports and visual photo/video logs are rendered on monthly or quarterly cycles.
8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These terms and all formal engagement contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delta State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In the event of any disagreement or dispute, both parties commit to first seeking an amicable resolution through direct consultation and mediation before initiating statutory arbitration or formal legal proceedings.
